As long as Crain pitches for the White Sox like he did for the Twins, he'll be a great friend for life. What a waste of money.

It's always good to hear stories about friendships that transcend rivalries. Too bad for Crain, though - he won't get to pitch for the Twins in the World Series.

I liked Jesse Crain when he played for us. He really had a great year last year. One interesting thing about that was Crain became effective after listening to constructive criticism from Jon Rauch. The same advice he'd been getting from Rick Anderson for some time. I don't begrudge Crain because he's received a raise and a promotion as a closer. But, he did sign with the White Sox and I can't stand that team. Nothing personal against Jesse or any of the White Sox's players or coaches. But I can't wish them any success at all. Morneau has the right attitude. Go Twins! And whip the Palehose this year!

I'm worried now that Morneau's concussion could be worse than we all thought (if he is worried about Crain signing with Chicago)..Crain being with the White Sox HELPS the Twins..they don't call him Crainwreck for nothing..he's just plain awful. Can't we get the Sox to bite on Baker now too? And come on Justin..Crain is your BFF? Maybe you should sit out another month or two and let your head clear.

"they don't call him Crainwreck for nothing".....You are correct...they call him that because of ungrateful ignorance.

"The White Sox are the team to beat in the A.L. Central?" Well, the way the offseason has gone, that might be true. We'll all just have to wait 'n see what it's like when both teams come out of the gate, as well as Detroit. The Twins have had their way the last several seasons. Gardenhire may have to pull another one out of his hat this year to win another A.L. Central title.

when will the sox learn.... every offseason they seem to pick up a stud pitcher or big bat and completely neglect their defense. and every season they end up leading the twins and tigers in errors and fade down the stretch.
