The city has the infrastructure and the transit. The only thing it needs is you know what.

Until the Vikings and the NFL open their books for public inspection I say no public funding.

As a Viking fan this is what we've all been waiting for, Ramsey County vs. Minneapolis in an attempt one way or another to secure a new home for the Minnesota Vikings so we can finally give the middle finger to L.A... However, as is always the case with the Minnesota Vikings, it's going to come down to the last play of the game to determine wether we get a victory this year at the legislature.

Lets not burden Minneapolis with another sports facility by taking prime real estate off the tax rolls. Hasn't the city done enough for Minnesota?

Move Vikings! Millionaires do not need bail outs. Those jocks all live in Florida, and elsewhere. Even the owner does not live here! Back when they were going to build in Anoka they said they were going to put $1 billion in private money into the project. So why do they need public money??? State, county and city government is NOT A BANK!

What they should've done is built one football stadium instead of one for the Gophers and now one for the Vikes. Or a combined Twins/Vikes stadium. But instead of the Dome we'll end up with 3 full-blown stadiums. 2 for teams that play at home, absolute max, 15 times a year each. Good use of money and resources guys, good use.

They'll end up in DT Mpls. Guaranteed. Arden Hills? Who's zooming who. They'll push a metro wide tax rather than just Mpls or Hennepin, plus state money.

"The Vikings say they will pay for a third of a roofless stadium." They're a private business. Why should Minnesota pay for a private business' expenses? I say, we make them pay for their own damn buildings.

Minneapolis is the best choice....I hope they get this done. The state needs to step it up, everyone needs to support this, not just the city or Hennepin County.
