Signed in January, he helps fill holes up front and already is familiar with so many of the players, especially Eric Nystrom.

First game for Jed. Hopefully he can get into the grove and get some chemistry with his teammates. Game was sloppy for the entire Wild team. Go Wild!!

making room for Penner would be as simple as sending Staubitz to the minors. He's relatively useless anyway, it wouldn't be a loss.

puckinsider what staubitz useless, everyone else on the wild is deathly afraid of fighting and sticking up for teammates, and as for john madden, he is one of the worst players i have ever seen, i can not believe how terrible he looked last night wow!!!!

there aren't many fights in the NHL anymore, and the Wild hardly fight. fighting is the most overrated thing in hockey, and the sooner people figure that out, the better off everyone will be.

Great to see an alumnus of the former Iowa HS Hockey League back in the NHL--and I'm sorry for those names I called Jed and his brother when they used to play against Ames when we were all in HS! Keep after it, Jed; we're proud of you and appreciate your timely contribution to the hockey club.
