Laboratory Scientist Labor Shortage Looms

These largely invisible (to the public) clinical laboratory scientists labor away over microscopes to help doctors reach an estimated 70 percent of diagnoses. Hospitals have a hard time keeping up with private industry salaries, and are working hard to head off a major shortage of these crucial staffers.
