I love how they have to keep reminding us the Metrodome's roof has caved in, and that the lease is up at the end of this next season. Like we all forgot or something.

Multiple sites will make this interesting process. Reality is we do not have the collective backbone to say no to the couch sitters and media(i.e sports advertising is big business) and out of control sports industry. The most successful one in history is going on STRIKE for more $$$$$ for players and owners DURING A RECESSION ! Better to use the competition to wrangle better deal with land developer owner and league for the stadium that is inevitable.

As expected, the county will likely try to slap another sales tax increase on their unwilling residents without their approval. That was the mistake with allowing the Twins tax to be voted into existence by outstate legislators rather than by the communities which have to actually pay them. All it did was pave the way for anyone wanting money for any purpose to simply use this as a pattern.

I like this location. This ammunition plant is a vast waste of space right now. I'm tired of all of the stadium talk. Let's just get this thing done!
