I would be more worried about the potential to become a type 2 diabetic due to how much high fructose corn syrup is in any drink, juice, soda or otherwise. The caffeine is almost an afterthought.

typical of the industry,it's all about the profit, profit and more profit. so just ignore any doctors advice or studies. and $3-$4 a can, man we really are dumbed down people.

I've never been big into energy drinks and don't let my 5 or 10 yr old drink them. The older one plays basketball and if he needs a boost, I give him an orange to eat before a game.

And when your body is falling apart from all the bad choices you made--energy drinks, tobacco, booze, Dew, junk food, lack of exercize--DO NOT ask me and other tax payers to pick up your health care costs.

There ain't nothin' wrong with Jag bombs. Otherwise I find energy drinks completely unpalatable.

My God...what a non-issue. If the American Beverage Association scientists say that these refreshing, life-sustaining beverages are safe, that should be enough for anyone. Are you a scientist...I didn't think so. So let's just relax, enjoy a beverage and let these Jedi knights in white lab coats worry about what's good and what's not good for us.

Energy drinks should be illegal. Nothing as addictive as it seems to be can possibly be good for you. One of our younger guys practically has separation anxiety when he has to put his down to answer a call...
