What a way to study history! I am a decendant of some of the original founders of Eden Prairie. The Andersons and Mitchels were there in th 1850's as refugees of the Irish Potato Famine. My Father, Freeman Thomas Rogers was born there in October of 1894 to Frank and Martha Mitchel-Rogers. I believe they belonged to the First Presbeterian Church in E. P. I remember visiting the Mitchel farms when I was a child growing up in the 1930's.
