I agree with the above. On my only ever visit to the US I came through this airport. The immigration officers there are incredibly rude and obnoxious individuals who love to throw around their authority. I recall talking to a girl on the flight there, and I saw her talking to this one very obnoxious officer who asked her if she liked something about him (can't recall what exactly, facial hair seems to sound right though) to which she replied "yes" and he then exclaimed "correct response". This same official then questioned several male individuals with a much less 'friendly' statement of "why are YOU coming here to the USA?". I do not understand why he had to do this, as the person at the front of the queue was asking the same question. When I finally got to the front, I was sent for further questioning. The reason being they were 'unhappy' because I was staying at a friends house, and not at a hotel. After accusing me of a wide variety of things, asking me in a threatening tone "when was the last time you were hospitalized", and suggesting I should commit suicide, with the statement "Are you going to go home now and commit suicide? How will you do it? Will you use a gun?". Then after the degrading, the threatening behavior, and the suicide suggestions they sent me back home, with a similar stamp in my passport. It is very interesting how I got my baggage searched, got deeply interrogated, and finally got sent home, where a girl was in the same position as me. She was staying at a friends house and they called this friend who never answered the call. Yet instead of searching her luggage and interrogating her, they let her through! Seems if you are traveling through this airport it helps to be female, so the sexist officers will have some pity on you and not torture you. Of course most tourists will not have such a problem as they stay at hotels. Also if everyone was treat in this disgusting way then there would be many complaints.
