As usual, Sid, Doogie or whatever subordinate you utilize for research has led you down the wrong path. The Gophers had 15 commitments at the time that Brewster was fired. Seven of them have departed and eight remain committed to the Gophers. Those departing are Cameron Brown, Russell Haughton-James, Dave LaCosse, Mike Moore, Samuel Oyenugs, Sam Rohr and Marquise Vann. Those remaining committed are Quinn Bauducco, Devin Crawford-Tufts, Jephette Matilus, Kyle McAvoy, Luke McAvoy, Tommy Olson, Max Shortell and Peter Westerhaus. Facts are kind of damning when they jump right up and hit you in the face, right Sid? Just another example of the sloppy, shoddy research, and journalism in general, that you've perpetrated upon the citizens of our area for lo these many years. Shame on you, Sid.

Wisconsin wins by stealing athletes from Minnesota. If only coaches from Minnesota would figure that out.

Kill is not the answer. He will be out in three years too. Seriously don't know how Maturi sleeps at night- He has DESTROYED Golden Gopher Football. Can't wait to see his Wisconsin *@% retired..!

1967 was the last title, and you are blaming Maturi? Get Real! Sid, you are doing a great job. No need to listen to all of the pessimists. Go Gophers! Kill, give them hell!

I am sorry, but Sid is right on this one. All the problems the football team has had over the recent past have one thing in common. We are running out of excuses. We have a new stadium etc. and there is only one thing left to replace. Guess who?

Gosh, I had no idea that MN football had a winning tradition when Maturi came in only to see him ruin it. "Kill isn't the answer" based on what? You mean you are such a genius that you can figure that out 45 days after his hire? At N.ILL in his tenure, he won more bowl games, regular season games and sent more players to the NFL than the Gophers in the same time frame. He has won, every where he went. So, what FACTS do you base your "he isn't the answer on?

I am willing to bet that Coach Kill and his staff will have everything under control once they get in the full year cycle. They will get a different level of kids that will realy truly bleed maroon and gold and they will do what it takes to stay on the field by keeping grades up and staying out of trouble. I think the whole program will be changing for the better starting now. Go Gophers!

Why on earth would the athletic director instruct the remaining coaches not to approach high school prospects unless Brewster had already begun the recruiting process with them?
