Failed the ethics class. Looks like many of these characters would have the same problem. While I am glad the chiropractors are policing themselves, it seems some of these cases involved unprosecuted criminal fraud.
When a sleezy realtor was featured in this forum, everyone jumped all over the entire Real Estate industry. Where's the hate for all of Chiropractic?
Jane, why did you not take a look at Doctors and Dentists? Why pick on the Chiropractors?
bill 9844 Having been a Realtor ( inactive and retired now) I think the answer is that many people think that agents perform a service that they could possibly do themselves. And every bad story about a crooked realtor or realty gets projected on the whole industry.
No one can practice a chiropractic service on oneself. Many have not had any contact with a chiropractor, so when a story like this comes along,it reflects on those practicianers who did wrong.
Now that you've covered the foibles of chiropractors you should also apply the same jounalistic standard to other professions. Let's have a peek at the disciplinary actions of the medical and dental boards. And then, let's actually publish them!! What exactly is the point of singling out chiropractors?
bill9844: I can't believe I'm reading what you wrote...you're upset because there's not enough hate mail? You might want to look into chemical-balancing drug therapy. Geez.
