Why wouldn't we go after the coach at Concordia University!

The long-time assistants were hand-picked by Hebert. What's wrong with keeping them and making one of them the head coach??

There will be no shortage of qualified applicants. The CU coach has had great success at the D2 level but D1 is a totally different arena. And do the current asst coaches want the job? I am sure Mike will be involved in the proceess and may already have some people in mind.

I agree with larrymick. Quality program, quality student-players, quality non-headline coach. Successful top-level accomplishments. There will be good applicants and the program will go on. We need more examples of this at the U.

The guy was a legend. He will be greatly missed. Thanks for taking the program to higher levels. Please hire a strong leader for the program.

Thank you,Coach Hebert. Tremendous job. Is there some way,ANY way,to keep Maturi out of the loop on the new coach? We don't need another "Tubby Smith-like" hire from Clown Shoes. We need a Mike Hebert-like hire.

Since my 1st post was deleted, I'll try again, QUIT making good suggestions to Maturi. He know all and will not listen to anybody. If he thinks that there is alot of support for a certain local coach their toast!
