Ohhhh...SNAP! Oh SNAP! Mav's brought out the Brooms n' swept the Gophers. This news wasn't a big suprise at all really....but the big news was; I heard Aaron Ness laid a body check in the second period. Honestly...its TRUE! Write that down Gophers fans. FYI: I will be playing against half this Gophers squad in Sally's bar league next year. GO SIOUX!!

C'mon Don, we like you but please go away and turn the reigns over to somebody else. It's just uninspiring to have my kid grow up watching sub par gopher puck. Your team just got swept by a team whose coach who played D3 hockey.

Is there really anything else to say? Well, except...DUCK! Here comes the Bulldogs! Of course, the delusional goph fans, not the realistic goph fans, will think the gophs have the Bull Dogs right where they want them! Have fun in practice this week boys! Home ice is a long way away!

Remember when your coach had quotes in the paper and they actually meant something. Another loss; and your coach says "thats hockey." If I were a Lopher fan I would want him back in Colorado Springs begging for points. Hey Haphazard and Boro; can I have my credibility back? Stay off the mopeds Lophers.

Oink, Oink. Well, Well...if the goal of MN gooooooophers was to see what rock bottom looks like; job well done.I was at the Sioux game tonight and saw what a "black" jersey can do. I was sitting next to an older gentleman who was a St. Cloud fan. He said "oh no, they have the black jerseys on tonight. They wore them the last time we played". AWESOME. I have often heard gooooooopher fans say their team is "MN pride on ice", well Bemidji and Mankato took that title this weekend and left all of you wondering what the heck just happened. It is official... you guys are the laughing stock. HA HA. GO SIOUX..........

When will Maturi pull the trigger and fire Lucia? A coach with a winning attitude will create an environment which creates goals to win close, winnable games like this.

Quote of the night: "We've got to stop playing from behind; that's happened too much this year," Jay Barriball. Get used to it! The fans have. Hey, Maturi, how's that seat licensing fee working out for ya? Keeping quiet on those rumors too?

Another mediocre season for the Golden Gerbils. This team is like the last four and shows little talent for forechecking. It seems satisfied with perimeter shooting. This works for teams who succeed in crowding the net for rebounds, but that's not a Gopher habit.

The Gophers were the far superior team. They were beaten by a hot goalie. If he plays that way the remainder of the season they will win a lot of close games.
