I realize this is redundant, but that really was a great story! Very fascinating. I would never have learned all that otherwise!

Years ago I saw a small dog skeleton at the Science Museum. They had injected a red "plastic" material into its arteries and a blue "plastic" into its veins. So when they had let the bugs do their work, they ended up with the skeleton of a dog and its entire blood circulation system. Really neat! The Science Museum probably still has it someplace.

I thought the Owebama summer job recovery tour should have been in full swing by now...guess printing money out of thin air doesn't help anybody including taxidermists.

Very interesting. And it is a reminder of where everyone is in this economic downturn. I wish her husband luck with the kidney transplant, and that someday she will once again be able to work full time in a job she clearly loves.

She does fantastic work and believe me, seeing her basement is an experience in itself! I've given Storm a number of animals and they've all turned out great. When I was over last, her colonies were working their magic on a lion's skull and a boa constrictor. I'd recomend Remains to be Seen to anyone considering a european mount. Also a wonderfully nice person! I wish her and her husband the best!
