Declining revenue and circulation have the aging owners of the Minnesota-published Marriage looking for someone else to take over.

I thought marriage was overrated... until I realized that it's the only way to find true, long-lasting love and commitment in a relationship. It's also the ideal for raising secure, happy children. And, yes, marriage certainly does take a lot of work and compromise. But that's what takes off our rough edges. (Of course, you can be happy as a committed single without a relationship, too.) I hope this magazine not only survives but thrives again.

In an economic downturn, the one easy thing for church's and people to do is to cut subscriptions. This is probably more a reflection of the economy than anything directly related to the magazine. Don't forget, the Strib went through bankruptcy, and many other subscription based media have also gone through bankruptcy, being sold off or at least downsizing.

As someone who hasn't been married yet, I've wondered about resources for learning how to do a better job at marriage. It's kind of like career-development, but more important. I didn't know about this magazine, but I'm glad to hear about it.
