They will have found no "underwear bombers" and will pat themselves on the back about what a good job they have done to avert these acts.

Its not the underwear they would put it in. a small amount of C4 could turn your flight into a very bad fireball. Would anyone like to take the chance?

According to University of California @ SF professor (and a few radiation experts at various universities), the new full body scanners emit just enough radiation that it might cause cancer death in one out of every 30 million people. The odds of dying in a terrorist attack: 1 in 20 million. Hmm, hardly seems worth it! You can read about that on NPR's website: http://m.npr.org/news/front/131275949?singlePage=true

How do you feel violated from a body scan? I can understand the groping part upsetting someone. It's not like the body scan is on a jumbo-tron for everyone to see. I think a swimming suit can be as revealing as a scan.

Terrorists have never to do anything again because they have won already. You are all so willing to give up any rights just on the outside chance these (one step above a McDonald's employee) TSA agents are going to find a bomb? Good luck.

Our soldiers risk everything to defend our country and our freedom. How do we pay them back? By coughing up bits of freedom because "better safe than sorry"? Having sensible security measures is fine. But buying into scanners without tracking the money (Chertoff Group) first is just lazy. Pay attention, folks. Our service me at least deserve that.
