Good to see things at Northwestern College are going well despite the team not winning as much as they have in the past. Thanks Dave for your commitment to the United States of America. We appreciate you.

Thanks to Rachel for an excellent article that accurately portrays Dave Kleiner and Eagle football My son plays with Dave, so I know him a bit. He is a man of faith, principle, and integrity. Thanks, Dave, for all of that - and for your service to our country! I agree with Coach - it is a privilege to know you!

So many people comment on sports stories, thinking they know sports and their opinion matters. This story illuminates the type of people that really matter in life, and sports (in this case football) occupy a lower tier of importance, even as they provide an outlet for extraordinary people like Mr. Kleiner.

@jusalilboy I can understand your interest in Favre, but I want you to know that your comment was offensive. There will always be plenty of articles about Favre. But this story was one of a kind, and much more meaningful than the battle on the gridiron. Even if you don't necessarily agree with the military, or you want more articles about Favre, please still respect men in the military, because they have put themselves in situations you never want to see all for our protection. Thank you, Dave Kleiner, for your service. It is immensely appreciated.
