The first-year Timberwolves player showed flashes of brilliance but not the consistency of a go-to guy.

..The T Wolves had a 5pt lead at half time with Love on the floor. They lost the 2nd half by six, and the game, with him off the Floor. One thing for sure is, the Team usually goes plus with Love on the Floor. Beasley has proved nothing, other than he is full of himself. He reminds me so much of Marbury I want to reach for the Barf Bag..Minnesota fans pay to see Love.. Not so Mike Beasley. Keep Demeaning and benching Love and enjoy those Empty seats. Beasley needs to earn his way, not being force fed on us. Love is a winner, theres a difference.

Team was certainly more watchable. Rambis has them moving in the right direction.

Beasley misses post game interview w/ the press so he gets slammed. On this team Beasley's offensive talent is clear & 16 shots is warranted. It's going to take time for him to become acclimated with a complex offense. Down the stretch he can go to the hoop & create his own high percentage shot unlike the old Garnett twisting, corkscrew fadeaways. Give him some time Jim, he's an elite offensive talent.

Why the slam on Beasley. He played great. Too many jump shots. BUT: 1 Turnover. He is learning a new position. Rambis deserved this slam for not playing KLove.

It was Sebastian Telfair. The biggest player difference was Ridnour/Telfair. I would bet you will find the biggest +/- right there, rather than Beasley/Love. In either case, it was the first regular season game for a team that has less than half of its team returning. Talk to me at game 10,15,20. And the comment as far as Rambis "teaching" instead of scraping to win the game... I would rather have the coach teach now and prepare for a championship 3-5 years out than scrape to maintain medocrity. They aren't going to the playoffs this year, why not groom the players?

This team needs to learn to play defense. Strong defense wins over strong offense in today's NBA. Rambis was in teaching mode because he knows what he's doing and he's turning this group into a solid team. They might have been able to beat this short-handed Kings team by playing the wrong way, but that would only set them back in the long run.

Maybe he had somewhere more important to be than sit and talk to you about how we lost. Maybe he walked over to the practice gym and was there until midnight, would that be okay? If he had known you would start dogging him after a single game, he might have thought otherwise. You're right about one thing, though - it is a long season. Cut the kids some slack.

After starting all 82 games last year, Cory played the second lowest minutes last night. That HAS to be a sure sign the team has significantly upgraded talent. Rambis WILL be patient and the W's will eventually come . . .

especially inside, and especially when Love is in the game. He can't play D. Much too slow. Looks like another really long season.

No team ever dumped him because of his lack of "game."
