I am so glad you are getting positive recognition for all your hard work at the Center and Institute. $30,000 annual salary is hardly an "empire!" I have never seen such dedication from people devoted to research and education. It's a privilege for all your fans to peek over your shoulders and be a small part of your efforts and successes. Thank you for all you do.

I am so glad that you let Brian Person write such a wonderful story about the truth that is happening in Ely MN. If your readers would have a chance to go and see and meet Dr. Lynn and Sue you would understand what they mean to all of us that follow the nightly bear postings. You feel like you are part of something so much bigger than yourself and its GOOD. They are not out to hurt or tear people down and its doing something that we all can be proud of. MN DNR should be holding the Center up for the world to see and be proud of what their state has produced. What an honor to have this in your state. Please continue to tell everyone what great work is happening in Ely. All LilyBear fans will call you a paper with integrity and a heart, which isn't all that bad.

Scientific research is important. I love the way WRI conducts its method of researching these often misunderstood bears. It is through their (bears) Life we are gaining our understanding, and now love (as there is no way to not mention that!)those valued bears. WRI conducts non harmful research technics that is also a valued method in the research. This Fan simply loves it all, but most importantly, I have loved and shared the education gleened from those dedicated people!

I'm a proud Lilypad follower and and even prouder to read such a true depiction of our man Dr Lynn Rodgers. He is truly a man who loves his bears & loves to educate. A dedication rarely seen . You Minnesotans have a gem you can be proud of. We hope to see legislation within the next year to protect the collared study bears that are so valuable to education and reveal the truth about bears . The bears (with a little help from Doc & Sue) will show you,and you will be amazed as I was!. Thanks again to Brian Peterson, and Star Tribune. I enjoyed the read & video, Sincerely, Sue Scarantino-Lilypadder

Lynn Rogers and Sue Mansfield are both class act researchers. In fact, their whole team is a CLASS ACT! Enough said! HEIRS Health
