What a great idea. And what a wonderfully well done story. Loved the video. One of the best things I've seen in online journalism or on TV in a long time.

I'm in the car business and have done a lot of business with Ace over the years. They've really turned their place around from a slimy junkyard to a well-oiled business. Their prices are some of the best around and they are professional. My hats off for thinking outside the box, at least in this line of business.

Great idea. Isn't ACE Auto Parts the store that helped catch the guy who hit a little kid with his car, then drove off, by keeping an eye out for someone who needed a part that matched the description of the crime?

I'm sure you Ace workers are checking out the Strib this morning to see if you look ridiculous or not. Well. . . you don't, and we all applaud your efforts to stay fit. Great job and keep it up.

What an on-target approach for dealing with workers compensation costs (which are about 13 cents of every $ of wages for recyclers/junk yards). Thanks for the story.

Ace Auto Part and the SweatShop Pilates staff were so committed to these guys. We love to see our "Junkyard Boys" get the attention they deserve. Pilates can make everyone's work life easier, reduce stress, and better yet, build some community while working out together and the SweatShop can deliver!

What an awesome story!! It's so refreshing to read a story that is positive, and even if some of the employees don't really see the benefits of pilates, at least they are still out there participating, which is great for team building!! Hats off to the owners, it seems they actually care about the long term careers of their employees!!. Besides, after a while the guys might notice pilates can actually help with building up that six pack :)
