One Ray Bradbury is worth more than all of the religious and political nuts who have ever lived or who will ever live. Thanks for sharing this time on this planet with us.

1950's, '60's SF writers left: Asimov, Norton, Heinlein, Clarke, I read them all, and not only were highly entertained, but learned a lot of science, too. Bradbury is a literary treasure.

I felt that his stories were often like poetry, evoking images and senses from times past and future. One of the greatest of sci fi writers.

Especially the story of the last man on Mars looking for a companion. Very funny!

Decades later, very few conversations in my life keep smiling as I recall snippets of the dialogue. Ray has given both immediate enjoyment and enjoyment decades later recalling a treasured line.

-isn't really quite "enough" for a full movie (as Truffaut's version proves). It should be combined with Bradbury's story about the guy who loves to go for walks at night, and for this reason is picked up by the robot police and sent to by examined for mental illness. Similar themes so it would be easy to interweave the stories. Wish I could remember the title of that story.
