Way to go boys! Minnesota is rooting for you guys!
Congratulations to all of you for a great season! And don't forget to thank your parents for their love and support! I'll bet some of you guys are future major leaguers! Have fun!
I bet they have pitchers than can last more than 5 innings Gardy!!
I bet the kids could've written a better news brief too! Do any of the Strib online writers proof their work?
Keep it up.
Congrats! Good luck in Williamsport. And lets try to show a little more class than the Coon Rapids team did a few years back with the spitting in the hands routine.
Little League used to have a 5-inning rule for pitchers...can't go past it. Now the 12U age bracket has a pitch count limit of 85 pitches instead. Because LL pitchers typically have less control and give up more walks than older pitchers, they usually reach that 85 pitch limit by or before the 5th. I believe each team had their starters go 3 today, but I may be wrong.
And these kids are out playing with thousands of dollars worth of equipment.
Get over it.
wish my old english teacher could have read this story. Only one sentence for all of the second paragraph. Other paragraphs had many sentences...like maybe two or three.
