Name of Bachman's autobiography. How naive does she think people are? This nation is heading back to McCarthyism. We need to address this now; I believe Bachmans seed of paranoia will rot in the filth she planted it in.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

The content of the comments on these political stories and the 'approval ratings' of comments show a huge shift to real marxism. I am amazed driving past large houses through influential neighborhoods where people are definitely making huge money and they are displaying the largest Obama signs.
When a greater portion of your income is absorbed by the gov't to fund the poor and lazy you will be singing a different tune.
When the company you own can no longer compete good luck.
When they state McCain supports co's who tkae their business overseas they are wrong. It is the American consumer who makes the 'choice' to purchase products from overseas.

If you are appaulded by Bachmann's comments- then you should be equally appaulded by the Daily Kos website. That site puts out disgusting propaganda as bad as Bachmann could ever produce. Only a partisan hack would disagree

Colen just referred to the negativity in the MCCain campaign with people like the Representattive from Minnesota wanting people to investigated at who is anti-America. WOW Minnesota gets more bad recognition from that ignorant Bachmann. We are proud of our Minnesota and Minnesota Nice and it time to deport rags like Michele.

You're McCain's campaign leader in Minnesota, the leader of the GOP in the state, and our governor. Why don't you step up to the cameras and condemn Bachmann for her shameful comments?

was an earlier question. I submit it is the best way to get some of the poisonous attitudes out for a good airing. If the American people are as smart as we all hope, they will recognize her and her type for what they really are--un-American.
Her own words have sealed her fate. Hard to deny her position when she so eloquently stated it herself--on national television no less!

I am Minnesota born, but currently living in Wisconsin. After seeing Bachmann's disgusting interview on Hardball I immediately sought out her opponent and tossed some cash his way. I have never donated to anyone outside of my district, but I had to make this exception.
In her interview, Bachmann called for a McCarthy-esque investigation into members of congress who may be "un-American". She also declared college campuses to be "un-American" places because of all the "anti-Americans" they harbor. To Bachmann, anti-Americans are anyone who does not adhere to her personal and political ideologies. Her hateful and divisive attitude are a threat to this entire country.
Bachmann may have an (R) after her name, but she is nothing like the good, honest, rational Minnesota republicans and conservatives that I know. She is of a whole different breed.
Here in WI we are still living with the embarrassment of sending Joseph McCarthy to Washington. Please good people of MN-6, don't make the same mistake. Vote Tinklenberg!

What exactly are anti-American views? Seems to me the most anti-American view you could have would be to want to investigate others for anti-American views.
